Ty Wilson and Greg Asproth opened Two Stooges Sports Bar & Grill in April of 1988 under the name University Billiards with 17 pool tables and a snack bar. After several great years and some major renovations, a Cobblestone Street theme was added and then there were 56 pool tables, and a full-service American style restaurant with some fun twists. In 1998 the name and concept of Billiard Street Café was born.
Billiard Street Cafe was awarded “Top Ten Billiard Room in North America”, “Business of the Year” and “Best of ” Award for Architectural Design in the Billiard Digest. The accolades are nice, but our best award is when you, our guest, walk in and simply say, “Wow!”
In 2006, a World Class Sports Bar was added! The unique elevated bar is in the middle of the room so wherever you sit you can see the action! The Sports Bar is made from Cherrywood and Chem metal panels with stainless-steel railings. With 24 HD TV ‘s and 4 14’Monster screens around the perimeter you can see all the Sports action you want. Our 16 tap beers are poured through “ICED COBRA” taps, serving the coldest/best tasting beer anywhere, and it just doesn’t get better than that!!! This last ambitious expansion and remodel brought more changes, and the FINAL name became Two Stooges Sports Bar & Grill.
